Impala Floodies marks the return of fifteens rugby

Fifteens rugby returns this weekend when the Airtel Impala Floodlit tournament kicks off on Saturday October 11, at the Impala Club in Nairobi.

This tournament, played every year since 1983 has over the years served as a build up to the Kenya Cup league season and this year’s tournament is no exception.

With defending champions KCB, reigning Kenya Cup champions Nakuru RFC, hosts Impala Saracens, Kenya Harlequins,Nondies, Mwamba, Homeboyz and crowd pullers Mean Machine all lined up, fans are assured of a quality field as the teams use this tournament to get their combinations and tactics right ahead of the upcoming season.

The tournament will run up to 25th October, paving the way for the 2014/15 Kenya Cup league season which kicks off on November 8.
