Kenyan referees to officiate Uganda, Togo Afcon qualifier

Refree Davies Omweno will be assisted by Aden Marwa and Peter Sabatia while Antony Juma Ogwayo will be the fourth official

Reigning Kenya referee of the year and FIFA accredited whistler Davis Omweno will be in charge of the Uganda vs Togi 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday at the Namboole Stadium in Kampala.

Omweno will be assisted by Aden Marwa and Peter Sabatia while Antony Juma Ogwayo will be the fourth official.

Uganda who lead Group E with four points, separated from second placed Ghana by goal difference will be hoping to bag another win at Namboole, avenue they have not lost at in decades as they seek to realise a 39-year dream of playing in the continental showpiece.

Kenyan-based players led by Kenyan Premier League top scorer Danny Sserunkuma, his team mates Geoffrey ‘Baba’ Kizito, Godfrey Walusimbi and Tusker’s Khalid Aucho are part of the Uganda Cranes team.
