Nairobi Business Ventures (NBV) shareholders approved the purchase of Air Direct Connect (DC) at a virtual Annual General Meeting, a move that will see the listed company venture into the aviation maintenance sector.
Air DC is a Nairobi-based company that operates a private hangar at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where it maintains Bombardier Dash 8 Classics, Dash 8 Q 400, CRJ 100,200, Boeing 737- 200/300 models.
“We expect to see increased demand for maintenance services by operators as the global airline industry recovers. We have quality equipment and highly trained people to meet the expected demand,” said NBV CEO Haresh Soni.
NBV shareholders also approved the purchase of, Aviation Management Solutions Limited, Delta Automobile Ltd and Delta Cement Limited.
