OPPO, a leading global smartphone brand, has started selling the OPPO A52 in the Kenyan market and will retail at Ksh24,999. The firm has also extended the partnership with the e-commerce giant, Jumia, on its anniversary sale where consumers can get the OPPO W11 wireless headphones at Ksh3,000 from the previous Ksh 4,999 with every purchase of the OPPO A52.
OPPO Kenya Communication and Projects Manager Muthoni Wachira said the introduction of the new device, coming shortly after the launch of the A92 demonstrates the firm’s commitment to cater to different market segments. “The A52 still packs the powerful settings in both hardware and software that has come to be associated with OPPO smartphones in this market, even as we remain cognisant of the tough economic
situations our country faces due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We hope that these devices give creatives and young people, in general, an opportunity to create and capture important moments even as they cope with the current circumstances.”
The OPPO A52 still delivers high performance with a capacity of 4GB RAM+128GB ROM and 5000mAh Battery. It also has an ultra-high resolution 1080P display with Neo-design and ultra-narrow side of the only 1.73mm that adopts 3D Quad-curve design with optimized curvature, which provides a better experience.
The rear camera is a 12MP AI Quad camera, arranged in a constellation design with a large aperture AI the main camera at 12MP lens and f/1.8 aperture, a 119 ° ultra-wide-angle lens at 8MP and f/2.2 aperture, and two 2MP unique portrait-style lenses.
