Scanad bags four awards at Loeries 2014

Scanad has won four international awards at the just concluded Loeries Awards 2014 held in Cape Town, South Africa.

Through its Ugandan subsidiary, Scanad received 11 nominations, the highest number for any East African and Middle East agency and went on to win a campaign silver, a campaign bronze, a media innovation bronze and a craft certificate.

First launched in 1978, the influential Loeries Awards celebrate creative talent in the advertising industry across African and Middle East.

Scanad received Silver Loerie for its Roofings print campaign, Bronze Loerie for its Airtel Money print campaign, bronze Loerie for its Roofings Razor wires in media innovation category and a certificate for Roofings campaign in print craft category.

“Winning new accounts and winning international advertising awards are important milestones for any advertising agency. Last year’s silver Loerie for Warid Telecom, gave us great motivation to achieve more,” said Amol Kulkarni, Scanad’s Creative Head.

The awards make Scanad the most awarded agency in the Africa and Middle East region.
